On April 28, 2022 the Rapp Family and our foundation lost our beloved brother in law Ed unexpectedly.
The void Ed has left in all our hearts is something that can never be replaced, Ed was loving husband to our sister Elizabeth, father to our nephew Andrew and uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a founding member of the foundation and dedicated free time, while provide his ITS background to not only help build this website but do many tasks and initiatives for both the foundation and the golf tournament.
Ed at one time loved to play the game of golf, but back injuries and surgeries sidelined him and when we started the annual golf tournament, this was a way for Ed to be around the game and help for a great cause. From the onset of our golf tournaments at Locust Valley in Coopersburg, now since 2020 at Woodstone Country Club in Danielsville, Ed would run the registration table and sell raffle tickets throughout the day to help raise funds for the cause. Upon the switch to Woodstone Country Club a putting contest was added to the festivities of the day, in which Ed enjoyed and would run the contest for the tournament.
This became a way for Ed to interact with all the participants and be close to the action. In Ed's memory, in 2022 the putting contest was named "STELTZ's PUTTS". All proceeds raised from "STELTZ's PUTTS" are donated in Ed's name to Jefferson Hospital to assist in the very cause Ed dedicated his time to help build.
The putting contest allows the participants to attempt (5) putts from various distances if a putt makes contact with a specific prize the participants goes home with the prize.
